 A light-hearted evening (usually about 2 1/2 hours) involving a Pot-Luck meal,  a white-elephant gift exchange, something interactive, and a copy of Jay's book, Soul Sailing.

People who have attended these evenings report that they've had fun, learned a few things and developed a closer bond with other participants, come home with a gift they can't wait to foist off on someone else, and experienced a very different kind of get-together.
