Powering-Up Your Stories
"Powering-Up"? What does that mean?
Two things:
first, it relates to you as an individual
second, it refers to the kinds of stories you tell.
One:
Powering-up means energizing YOU, the teller of the story. It means empowering the person who lived through the experience reflected in the story.
It means you taking care of yourself. Taking care of yourself, a very important phrase.
You power yourself up when you cuide numero uno (take care of number one). You do so by training yourself to think positive thoughts, by feeding yourself healthy food, and by getting enough physical exercise.
Second:
It means you telling more stories of living your telos - that being a Greek word meaning "end, purpose, or ultimate aim."
It means you telling stories:
of energizing and empowering yourself.
of making yourself look good.
of others saying about you, "Well Done."
So, "Powering-Up" involves the individual, AND the stories resulting from that individual's experience in life.
The ultimate goal in all of this?
Telling more stories of spiraling up rather than spiraling down. Of living out your telos in life.
